We are a family preparing for a new farming life in Zentsuji, Kagawa, Japan.
After moving from Hokkaido to our grandparents’ old house, we began restoring the overgrown garden and creating a slower, nature-centered way of life.
Here, we share:
- Our journey toward small-scale farming
- Daily life in the Japanese countryside
- Gardening, wild plants, and seasonal living
- The process of restoring an old family home and garden
We hope to create a place where local life, nature, and people gently connect.
As former travelers and expats ourselves, we also dream of opening a small guesthouse in the future — a place where visitors and locals can share stories, meals, and experiences together.
Thank you for visiting a little garden HOTARU.
